One of the hardest things in hospitality is building a great team and keeping it together. The industry is known for its revolving doors, and I was tired of seeing recruiters charge businesses through the roof.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the kitchen, living and breathing hospitality. I know the pressure, the passion, and the people who dedicate their lives to this craft. Roamio was born from that experience - a way to give back to the industry I love, and to support the venues that make it thrive.

When a recruiter is allocated to your business, they work with a maximum of two clients at any given time - including you. We believe this is the optimal workload to ensure focus, quality, and responsiveness. Any more than that, and we risk compromising the level of service we’re committed to delivering. With this model, you can trust that your recruiter is genuinely invested in your success and has the capacity to act quickly when you need support.

In most recruitment agencies, a single recruiter typically manages between 10 to 20 active clients per month, depending on the complexity of the roles and the volume of requisitions. On average, recruiters are responsible for 14 open job roles and handle over 2,500 applications monthly.
This high workload often leads to a transactional approach, where deep client relationships and tailored service can be difficult to maintain. At Roamio, we intentionally limit our recruiters to a maximum of two clients at a time to ensure focus, quality, and a more personalized experience.

The timeline can vary depending on the role and market conditions. In some cases, we may be able to place a candidate within just a few weeks. In others, it may take longer - especially if the ideal candidate is currently employed and needs to serve out a notice period, which can be up to four weeks. At Roamio, we combine active sourcing with strategic advertising to find the right fit, not just the fastest option. Our goal is to deliver quality placements that last, even if that means waiting a little longer for the right person.
